Modern American Issues

In this unit, we look at American demographics to determine points of conflict, issues, or themes in modern American culture.  Then, we ask lots of questions about how those issues started? What in American history caused those issues to generate, form, or intensify?  We'll look at lots of primary documents and read short stories and poetry to get a perspective on these issues.
