Character Study

Protagonist:  The main character in a piece of literature
Antagonist:  The person or force working against a main character

Round Character:  a well developed character with a full personality; has multiple sides or parts of their personality
Flat Character:  a underdeveloped character with only one part of a personality; has only one side

Dynamic Character:  a character who's values, morals or personality changes in the course of a story
Static Character:  a character who does not change values, morals, or personality in the course of a story
